Teaching Quality4.0
Answered every question I could have asked and offered some wonderful tips.
Thank you for the tip on rolling one coat of paint slightly next to the previous one then blending both together to minimize lines.
Thanks for a no b.s. video. You gave me what I needed (advice and images).
Very instructive. Answered key questions.
The best ceiling cut-in video on YouTube.
Actual DIY'ers cutting in like this with no experience will almost certainly result in a poor cut line.
Makes it look way too easy hahaha. I've searched this because I'm painting an auntie's house and it's a lot harder than people think.
When I do this, the brush leaves lines where it's painted but you can see between lines of paint onto the original wall.
When the light hits that ceiling it’s gonna be full of lines.

Answered every question I could have asked and offered some wonderful tips. A visitor thought I'd paid someone to do the job for me. That's the best compliment!
Great video for experienced painters using pro-grade brushes.

Thank you for the tip... Helpful video.
Teacher Personality4.0
Thanks for a no b.s. video. You gave me what I needed (advice and images) and spared me the mindless banter that only extends the length of your video.

Top Strengths

1. Teacher's Experience and Expertise

2. High Value for Practical Application

3. Direct and Instructive Teaching Quality

Areas to Improve

1. Guidance for absolute beginners (e.g., painter's tape, managing difficulty)

2. Addressing common beginner issues (e.g., brush lines, uneven paint)

3. Managing student expectations regarding ease of replication

What students love

Yeah great unless you're painting fresh white paint over older white paint then rollering a ceiling is not fun. The paint that goes on pink and dries white makes my OCD brain explode.

Washing the walls, cleaning, filling cracks, sanding, washing again... I still haven't started painting yet.

Thank you!!! I am ready to paint my ceiling and was dreading it. I have been doing it all wrong.

I thought you are supposed to roll toward the window, not this way??

Great video for experienced painters using pro-grade brushes. For the average DIY'r with little experience and using cheap brushes, best to use good quality painter's tape.

What could be better

Actual DIY'ers cutting in like this with no experience will almost certainly result in a poor cut line. It is not easy to get great results. Use special tapes like Frog Tape.

What about the painters tape? You skipped that part. (I hate people that make cutting look easy) lol
