What could be better

Very bad news for new joinees and departmental promoting candidates. Almost no non-executive will now prefer to promote as an executive, who will wait 6 years just to be an assistant manager.

Unfair for upcoming MT's through GATE 2025. This pay commission increment benefits existing manpower only, not the upcoming. It's a bypass to new pay commission by decreasing grade.

Completely unfair. New entries require 6+ years to reach E3, but old MTs get E3 after just one year. This is a big line/boundary.

After this circular, no one wants to go there. Everyone sees career growth.

The crowd for promotion is so huge that even after promotion, they don't give posts. GMs are kept as safety officers, and area managers are kept as managers.

If they give joining in E2, we will become officers; otherwise, long live Overman. I have the qualification of a First Class Manager.
