Evaluation breakdown

Teaching Quality4.0
This was a very good presentation.
The speaker's insights into game design and philosophy are truly thought-provoking, offering a fresh perspective on the medium.
The way he connects game mechanics to deeper psychological concepts is brilliant and makes me appreciate games even more.
The speaker has a unique ability to articulate complex ideas in an accessible and engaging manner. Excellent delivery.
The audio quality was a bit inconsistent, making it hard to hear some of the more subtle points being made.
The speaker occasionally went off-topic, which made it difficult to follow the main thread of the argument.
Teacher's Experience5.0
A game developer with a philosophy background is a great combination.
I clicked on this video only because I read "Bennett Foddy" and I know who that is, proving him right that slapping your name on a game does indeed work.
Got reminded that GIRP exists watching this. Played and beat it for the first time, very fun game. Loved the whole retrospective btw.
It was especially fun watching Bennett reacting to the gamer rage clips, as well as some of his own scenes from baby steps lol.
Study Material3.5
Validates that games can be something much deeper than just fun, like he said, "games are a window to how we think".

This presentation really opened my eyes to the potential of games beyond simple entertainment. Very inspiring.
Some of the concepts discussed were quite abstract, and I struggled to see their direct application to game development.
While interesting, the talk didn't offer many actionable takeaways for aspiring game designers.
Doubt Support4.5
Wow, he answered a lot of questions! Great talk.
