What students love

I got -1/9. I am so happy. I used to have problems with PEMDAS, now I look forward to doing them. Learning math in my seventies so I can help my grandchildren.

I seldom pause the video and do the problem first on paper. Today, I did, and I was rewarded by getting this right! So, no more lazy watching for me!

lol basic math… this is my most favorite channel and I haven’t visited in a while as I’m out of school. Thank you, Prof.

I'm so happy that I could do that in my head in about 4 seconds. Just means that I still got the mathematical mind.

Thank you for sharing. I feel like this is new knowledge, but it's actually basic math.

Mr. Youtube Mathman certified professional expert, you have taught me PEMDAS so well, I solved this one in my mind. I'm not just a fan, I'm a superfan!

Thanks; this helps solve problems that plagued me in school decades ago.

I’ll be 70 in October, math was always my best subject. Your teaching methods are outstanding and I sure hope your students recognize how lucky they are.

It's even better that I remember how to solve this equation a couple of years after I learned how to do this type of problem on this channel.

Thank you for the exercise.

What could be better

I have to say I can't call any math that involves logs 'basic math'.

Sorry, I love your videos but I just finished Algebra 1 and we never discussed Logarithms. So this isn’t basic math and it isn’t even Algebra 1. The title is a bit misleading.

Why do you explain it so confusingly? It could be clearer and simpler.

Why so complex with the fractions?

If you just use a calculator, it's indeed simple basic math. I mean, I can just plug in log 10 / log 4 and square it in a calculator.

You made it too complicated. It's obviously 12.5 minutes.

Too much talking. Explain the rule. That’s all.

Extremely complicated. No endless writing and explanation needed.

To long winded, I just logged off.
