This is actually one of the most optimistic perspectives on AI right now. Ideas like giving most of us more free time, for example.

Having a strong sense of meaning is especially difficult for retired people like myself. I appreciate these kinds of videos because having meaning is important to me.

I really enjoyed this video - even if it was unsettling. The intro reminded me of Man’s Search for Meaning.

Although most can sense the unprecedented power of this technology, few can articulate its sharp edges. Thank you for contributing to public awareness.

Thanks for this video. This is a take on AI that I've not heard before. Hope you keep making videos.

Absolutely excellent. This is the most simultaneously logical and pragmatic exposition of non-apocalyptic ANI outcomes I’ve seen.

What could be better

Not bad but I was put off by the weird mispronunciation of John Searle. It's /sɜːrl/ as in furl or hurl.

At 6:20, 'no one gets to own the ASI' - that's the funniest argument I heard about this AI. You really think the people who build this intelligence will just give them to 'poor people' for free?

This started by bringing nothing new, military dangers, with the exception of torturing the death. I had no idea what to expect, so I listened to the end to hear this author truly believes the AI can resurrect the dead.
